Most pest companies treat the symptom (the rodents currently inside) and not the cause (the gaps letting them in). A mouse can squeeze through a hole the size of a dime. A rat can squeeze through one the size of a quarter. Even a tightly-built home usually has a dozen possible entries. We find them all, photograph them, and seal them with materials chosen for the species and the location: galvanized hardware cloth on vents, copper mesh in tight gaps, rodent-grade sealant at penetrations, and steel flashing where chewing pressure is highest.

How long does exclusion work last?

Done correctly, the seals last decades. The materials we use don't corrode, sag, or come loose. Only structural changes (a new vent, a remodel) usually require revisiting.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of the home and the number of access points. Smaller homes often fall in a predictable range. Larger or older homes with many entry points are more involved. We quote upfront, every time.

Can I do this myself?

Some of it, yes. Sealing visible foundation gaps with steel wool or mesh is reasonable DIY. The harder parts (roofline gaps, attic vents, eave seals) usually require ladder work, attic access, and the right materials. We give honest advice on what you can handle yourself.

Will sealing trap animals inside?

No. We seal AFTER removal is complete and we have verified no animals remain. Sealing too early is a mistake. We wait until the trap data and inspection both confirm the home is clear.

Do you also do attic restoration?

Yes. We offer attic cleanup and prep, and partner with insulation installers when full re-insulation is needed.
